Yesterday, on 30 September 2008, solemn prayers were held at the Aliens Centre on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, the holiday marking the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The prayers were led by the imam of the Postojna committee of the Muslim community in the Republic of Slovenia, Fahrudin Smajić.
The prayers were attended by ten foreign nationals staying in the centre and the president of the Muslim community from Postojna, Zahid Mehić.
