On Wednesday, 20 July 2011, Deputy Director General of the Police Matjaž Šinkovec received Vanessa C. Freeman, the Security Officer of the U.S. Embassy Regional Security Office.
Freeman's two-year term of office in Ljubljana is due to expire shortly. She and Šinkovec discussed the existing excellent levels of cooperation, which are expected to continue with the new regional security officer, who will assume Freeman's position in late September.
