On the afternoon of Monday, 17 March 2025, police officers responded to a report of a fire at a residential property in the Ć iĆĄka district of Ljubljana. Upon arrival, the house was already engulfed in flames. Two people were calling for help from the first floor, unable to evacuate on their own.
